A$0.00

A Sharp Vision traces the history of the John Sharp & Sons timber mills business and the Sharp family history from the 1840s through to the present. The Sharp timber business was established by Scottish migrant, John Sharp in Melbourne in the 1860s and grew to become the largest timber business in Victoria. The book then covers the demise of the Timber business in the 1940s, the reemergence of the Sharp family as property owners, wool farmers, the history of Arrandoovong (the family's home for more than 20 years), the diversification of the family into wineries, cattle export, environmental diversification projects, animal rescue, education and hospitality.
